Wellbeing of Leaders
Promoting Holistic Health
Objective
Equipping community leaders with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to prioritize self-care, build emotional resilience, and manage stress effectively
Objectives
The Wellbeing Program promotes holistic health by equipping community leaders with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to prioritize self-care, build emotional resilience, and manage stress effectively. Through a focus on physical, emotional, and mental well-being, the program empowers participants to lead healthier lives, strengthen their relationships, and serve their families and communities with greater resilience and purpose.
Wellbeing
Mental health challenges continue to increase globally, while many individuals do not seek professional support due to stigma or limited access to care. Community leaders often carry significant personal and social responsibilities, placing them at greater risk of stress, compassion fatigue, and burnout.
The Wellbeing Program addresses these challenges by providing psychosocial support and practical strategies that promote overall well-being. Participants receive guidance on healthy nutrition, regular physical activity, and preventive health, alongside training in emotional well-being through self-awareness, emotional regulation, mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and stress management.
Each participant develops a personalized self-care plan and is encouraged through regular support group meetings that foster accountability, peer support, and mutual encouragement. By strengthening physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, the program enables leaders to care for themselves while continuing to serve their families, workplaces, and communities with resilience, confidence, and hope.
